MATERIALS AND FINISHES

Carbon steel with hot-dip Galvanized finish (”GC”) made from structural tubing, nominal 2” schedule-40 pipe. Standard steel base plates are 3/8” thick. Each stand is a single weldment, completely fabricated prior to finishing. Stands are hot-dip galvanized, both inside and outside surfaces. Base openings allow for quality welding, galvanizing, and the continual drainage of any water (including weather and condensate) while stands are in use. Plugs are available to fill holes where desired. You can expect the hot-dip galvanizing for JCWCO IM Stands to be of the quality you have grown to expect from our TUBETRACK® products.

Carbon Steel with powder-coat paint finish (”PC”) made from structural tubing, nominal 2” schedule-40 pipe. Standard steel base plates are 3/8” thick. Each stand is a single weldment, completely fabricated prior to finishing with a durable, superior bonding, bright powder coat finish. Standard colors include white (W) or safety yellow (Y); customer-specified colors are also available. Standard powder-coat finish is a polyester paint. Epoxy paint finishes can be supplied. CAUTION: Powder-coat paint is meant to be the final surface finish of the stand. Field painting (other than simple touchup) or welding of powder-coat finished stands is not recommended.

Aluminum, Natural Finish (“NA”) made from structural tubing or 2” schedule-40 pipe. Standard aluminum base plates are 3/8” thick. The natural aluminum finish is standard. Other finishes are available for our aluminum stands.

T-304 Stainless Steel, Natural Finish (“S4”) is made from structural tubing or nominal 2” schedule-40 pipe. Standard stainless steel base plates are 5/16” thick.

T-316 Stainless Steel, Natural Finish (“S6”) is made from structural tubing or nominal 2” schedule-40 pipe. Standard stainless steel base plates are 5/16” thick.

JCWCo STANDARD COMPONENT MOUNTING BRACKETS

NEW from JCWCo IM STANDS - Our new unique design features brackets welded to JCWCo Instrument Mounting Stands to accept a variety of bolt-on components including instruments, panels, strut, or enclosures. Brackets are securely welded into place as a part of a single weldment prior to finishing. Brackets welded all around to maintain a continuous surface where finishing is applicable. Standard bracket choices include one hole brackets or two hole brackets.

QUALITY WELDING OF CAPS, JOINTS, AND BASE PLATES FOR SUPERIOR OVERALL STAND DESIGN

Rounded design 90° welded joints form a strong, smooth weldment. Note the drain hole in each horn.
Fully welded, rounded caps top off all posts and horns.
Posts are secured to base plates with our unique inside and outside double weld for substantial stand strength and considerable finishing advantage. The bottom opening provides a drain which can be plugged (as shown).
